Tulsa, Oklahoma, February 24, 2014 – Linde Process Plants, Inc. (LPP) announces the receipt of Letter of Intent (LoI) from Gaz Métro for a lump sum turnkey Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Unit for an expansion project in Montreal, Canada. The LNG Unit will produce in excess of 200,000 gallons per day of LNG. The LNG Unit features Linde's StarLNG™ dual expander nitrogen refrigeration cycle. The StarLNGTM dual expander nitrogen cycle features two (2) expanders providing highly efficient liquefaction of the natural gas and subcooling of the LNG product. The StarLNGTM dual expander nitrogen refrigeration cycle, offers significant advantages with short start-up time as well as wide part-load capability and efficiency. Subject to obtaining all approvals, the project is scheduled to be completed by the end of second quarter, 2016.
